Larry Dale, President & Chief Executive Officer

Lawrence Dale has been engaged in oil & gas exploration and development full-time since 1981. He is President of Dale Resources, L.L.C., Dale Operating Company and West Fork Pipeline Company. Under Mr. Dale’s guidance, the Dale Companies have drilled over 365 wells in Texas and Louisiana. Mr. Dale received a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1975 and a J.D. from St. Mary’s Law School in 1978. He is the past Chairman of the Board of St. Philip’s School and Community Center; past Chairman of the Tartan Board at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children; and a past President of the Dallas Petroleum Club. He is married and has four children.

Mike Taliaferro, Vice President of Operations

Mike Taliaferro graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 1981 and began his career with Mobil Oil. He was responsible for completions and producing operations, both onshore and offshore. Then, he became self-employed in East Texas as a consultant for drilling, completions, and stimulations. Mike has been employed with Dale Resources for 6 years and oversees all operations.

Gary Schein, Vice President of Engineering and Technology

Gary Schein graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1978 and was the Region Technical Manager for BJ Services in Dallas, Texas prior to joining Dale. He has worked in well completions and stimulation for over 29 years and has worked in several other areas including R&D, technical support, marketing, and field engineering positions. The majority of his focus has been on improving production from Unconventional Reservoirs such as Shale Gas and Tight Gas Sands.

Brandon Buford, Chief Financial Officer

Brandon Buford graduated with Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Accounting from the University of North Texas. He has been the CFO for Dale Resources for the last four years, and is a Certified Public Accountant. Brandon and his wife have one child.
