Barnett Shale
Dale’s efforts in the Barnett Shale play are concentrated
in the urban areas of Tarrant County and Dallas. The company’s initial
leasehold position was assembled in the floodplain of the Trinity River
in 2003. Each pad site was selected to be as urban-friendly as possible
and designed to accommodate multiple horizontal wells.
Dale has leased from more than 70,000 mineral owners,
including

Dale successfully bid with the City of Fort Worth
for Gateway, Tandy Hills, and Quanah Parker Parks, as well as Mallard
Cove Park and the Northeast Landfill.
